Finding An Architect: Witt Architecture Office

With our experience building and designing for high performance homes, we knew that we would aspire to bring together our personal vision for comfort, durability, health, and energy efficiency. We needed an architect who could make building science principles the primary driver of sustainable architecture. Scott Witt of Witt Architecture was an obvious first choice. Our priorities aligned well: simple architectural expression, authentic materials, how a building can support human thriving, and a deep respect for the surrounding environment.

Scott Witt (AIA and CPHC), is an architect with years of honing his knowledge of building performance principles and designing effective, climate-appropriate enclosure systems. Scott holds a Master of Architecture degree and is a master of various professional software, including Revit, WUFI Passive, Therm, and Climate Studio. His work reflects a passion for better buildings, passive house principles, and sustainability. With a focus on fundamental building science, meticulous details, and thoughtful architecture, he ensures that every project reaches its full potential. He thrives on the challenge of maximizing quality and performance through thoughtful problem-solving.
